In yet another example of egosurfing, apparently Bruce Jenner has found a reference to himself on NewsComa’s blog and left a short comment. The only celebrities to grace the comment section here at thedryspot.net have been George Goldtrap and the children of Bob Lobertini. We’re certainly not talking A-listers here.
Being the suspicious mind that I am, (I’m caught in a trap. I can’t walk out.) I clicked through the link on Bruce’s comment to verify his identity at his website. That’s where I came across this:
Holy crap, Bruce! Botox much? Which part of that word doesn’t scare you? BOtulism or TOXin?

Botox is a wonderful substance and should be liberally injected into any part of the body that has a wrinkle: knuckles, wrists, elbows, necks, waistlines, ankles, etc.
(Yes I have shares of the maker of Botox.)

I know this isn’t the right section, but you asked if anyone knew anything “unknown” about bob lobertini. Well I do. My mother is his unknown daughter.I know it sounds funny but my mom/ grandmother swore the family to secrecy. She looks just like him. They never said anything bc my grandmother didn’t want her name in the newspaper and as my mother got older, she wanted to contact her “siblings” but never did bc she didn’t want to disrupt the family. Weird, huh? She tells me that she used to always watch him on the weather and also on thevpopeye show. She has all articles and movies, etc. Email about this at roxi@cheerful.com.

Wow, Roxi. If this is indeed true, wouldn’t it have been less disruptive to the Lobertini family to contact them directly than to put these comments on a website? I am an old family friend, and I do know how to contact Dino and Lisa. I believe they both left comments with contact informaton before your posting. Not only are your comments tasteless, they are slanderous as well. I will be contacting the family on your behalf.

Bob Lobertini was the weatherman in Nashville, Tennessee many years ago. He was also Cap’n Bob on Bozo the Clown for the Popeye show.
I don’t think Roxi meant any harm with her words. She probablly doesn’t know how to contact the Lobertini family. As far as Mel goes, he commented on what Roxi said on THIS WEBSITE TOO… Isn’t that calling the kettle black? He could have emailed her directly since she provided her email address. Personally, I think they should both butt out and let the poor man rest in peace!
